Privacy Policy
Pillowfeed is a private feed for the photos and videos you save. Your media stays on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your own iCloud. The developer never receives it.
This policy covers the Pillowfeed app for iPhone (bundle ID app.stillpersonal.Still), developed by Vyas Sathya.
What we collect
Nothing. Pillowfeed has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. No personal data, usage data or media is sent to the developer.
If you email us feedback, we keep that email to answer it.
Where your media is stored
- On your device. Your photos, videos and the catalog that organizes them are stored in the app's storage on your iPhone.
- In your iCloud, if you turn it on. When iCloud sync is enabled, a copy is kept in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit private database, container iCloud.app.stillpersonal.Still). This database belongs to your Apple Account. The developer cannot access, read or download it.
Network use
- iCloud (Apple CloudKit), only to keep your own iCloud copy in sync when you enable it.
- Photos library, only for the items you pick. Pillowfeed does not scan or upload your library.
- Links you paste or share. When you add media from a link, the app downloads it directly from that address, reading the page to find the video when needed. For RedGIFs links it asks RedGIFs' public service for the video. The link is not sent to the developer.
- The built-in browser. Pages you open load directly from those sites. Sites may set cookies, which are kept on your device and sent only to that site, including when you save a video from it. Your browsing is not sent to the developer.
Face ID and passcode
App lock uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device. The app only learns whether authentication succeeded. It never sees or stores your face data, fingerprint or passcode.
Purchases
Pillowfeed Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information.
Deleting your data
- Deleting the app removes all media and data stored on your device.
- To remove the iCloud copy, open Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage), choose Pillowfeed, and delete its data.
Age requirement
Pillowfeed is rated 18+ and is intended only for users who are 18 or older. It is not directed at children, and no data is collected from anyone.
